IMCA & PAWC HISTORY

The ๐Ÿ^ ๐๐š๐ซ๐€๐ ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฉ took place on 6, 7 and 8 September 2002 in Gyula, Hungary together with the ๐Ÿ‘^ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐ข๐ฑ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐€๐ ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ (IMCA).

These worldcups were organised by: Gyulai Kutyรกs Agility Szabadidรตsport Klub and the 1ยฐ ParAgility World Cup was set up by mister Sรกndor Alt.

Susan Rekveld represented the Netherlands in an electric wheelchair together with her dog Quita. When Susan first heard about this world championship starts trying to find competitors and she sent hundreds of e-mails to dog training schools and relevant organizations. It was not an easy task to find enough competitors but just a few weeks before the competition was to start Susan managed to have 10 handlers and 11 dogs willing to participate.

Since 2002, IMCA & PAWC have taken place annually in different European countries. You can view all the editions on the “Past Editions” page. The next edition of the ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐ข๐ฑ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐€๐ ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ   and  ๐๐š๐ซ๐€๐ ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฉ  will be held in Portugal from the 4th to the 8th of September 2024
